About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance.

Duties

Perform a variety of duties to assure that depot resources are applied, and actions taken to support the integration, at depot, of new weapons systems repair and/or modification of Army and Cross-service (Navy, Air Force and Marines) workload. Identify the specific funding, manpower, material, maintenance plans, facilities, and services needed to support the program and to integrate the activities of numerous functional specialties. Coordinate actions to obtain or improve the complement of shop equipment, tools, jigs, fixtures, test stands, component test equipment and logistics support of new weapons systems and subsystems.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (Tier 3, Noncritical-Sensitive, Moderate Risk).

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
