Duties
You will evaluate programs for quality assurance and quality management to ensure an organization is in compliance with rules, regulations, and best practices
You will monitor quality assurance to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
You will review project management data (e.g., cost, schedule, risks, quality assurance) to determine progress or shortfalls against project objectives.
You will analyze project data to identify discrepancies impacting project completion (e.g., budget, schedules, tasks).
You will develop and maintain standard reports, metrics, and forecasts aligned to customer priorities.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing pre-final contract drawings and specifications (including technical RFPs), for both design-bid-build and design build projects, with respect to constructability and compatibility with actual field conditions; 2) Providing technical solutions to unforeseen problems during construction which may include independently approving field changes that have no impact on cost or schedule of the contract. 3) Coordinating the preparation of sketches and drawings in support of issuing negotiations or contract modifications; 4) Providing technical support for claims/disputes/terminations processing and negotiation resolution; 5) Monitoring available project time constraints, including relevant costs and schedule growth metrics, and initiating appropriate planning and corrective action as necessary to ensure funding thresholds and impacts to operational needs are not exceeded.
