You will serve as an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR in the CNATRA COMMAND SUITE of CNATRA.
Duties
You will directly assist the CNATRA/Chief of Staff in transmitting the priorities and decisions of CNATRA to the appropriate Departments, Wings, and Training Squadrons.
You will participate in the development and review of all plans, programs, policies and procedures for execution throughout NATRACOM activities, specifically to include the Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution process.
You will identify and advise CNATRA/Chief of Staff on all acquisition initiatives and administration of contracts for aircraft maintenance and instructional services.
You will provide advice, counsel and instruction on both work and administrative matters involving all civil service personnel.
You will oversee and/or approve labor expenses that are beyond the norm, such as hiring incentives, large or programmatic grade increases, extensive overtime, and employee travel.
You will make recommendations to the CNATRA/Chief of Staff on the full range of personnel actions and organization design proposals recommended by senior leaders and supervisors.
You will ensure that new technical and managerial plans and programs are coordinated within the chain-of-command based upon CNATRA/Chief of Staff guidance and delegated authority.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to sign a mobility agreement to accept relocation to other geographic locations if required by the employer.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and formulating organizational policies and guidelines and providing advice and recommendations to higher-level management to include but not limited to manpower and personnel readiness, contract administration and budget management.
