You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION VARIANCE COMPONENT of NAVY MILITARY PAY OPERATIONS AND ACCOUNTING.
Duties
You will analyze program obligations, cost trends, and variances to assess program fiscal performance.
You will advise customers regarding financial guidance, policy, and procedures.
You will recommend corrections to gaps and conflicts in financial data.
You will advise managers on financial performance.
You will analyze and resolve financial problems within an organization.
You will recommend strategies that will enable an organization to meet its performance metric objectives.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading team members, projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders while communicating deadlines and expectations; 2) Providing and receiving constructive feedback and conveying information through written text, such as emails, reports, and office applications; 3) Analyzing financial documentation and identifying challenges and developing effective solutions; 4) Displaying the capacity to think creatively to approach problems from various angles; and 5) Utilizing Microsoft applications, such Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations.
