You will serve as a IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) in the NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER within NAVSUP Navy ERP Enterprise Business Office. #LI-NAVSUPBSC

Duties

You will serve as a systems analyst responsible for one or more Navy ERP Sustainment supply and finance business process configuration areas. You will plan and coordinate feasibility studies to determine the practicality of business and system design requirements. You will conduct various levels of testing, document test results, and coordinate with system integrators to resolve and retest problem areas. You will support planning and managing system interfaces, and maintain system documentations (i.e. Functional Requirement Design Specifications (FRDS), High Level Designs (HLD), Request for Change (RFC), Technical Data Packages (TDP), etc.) You will research applicable regulations, standards and policies governing a variety of topics such as policy, system performance, processing condition, etc., in response to customer needs.

Qualifications

I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: a substantive knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and methods while leading, administering, developing, delivering, and/or supporting information technology (IT) systems and services. Specific duties performed include the following: 1) Serving as technical expert for one or more complete systems, modules, applications, or equivalent (e.g., data storage, software applications, networking); 2) Developing functional requirements and specifications for systems that meet business requirements; 3) Carrying out IT design studies to determine feasibility of requirements and design alternatives and to develop and/or modify critical portions of functional analysis documents; 4) Providing advice and assistance to customers while troubleshooting complex system problems, minimizing interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities; 5) Utilizing enterprise tools to support ERP (such as Quality Center, NHMDS, and ECMS); and 6) Applying knowledge of Functional Business Processes in a Systems, Applications, Products (SAP) based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically Repair and Inventory Management functionality including , including issues, receipts, referrals, denials, disposals and replenishments and / or experience in Procurement-Material Movement (MM).
