In this position, you will serve as an experienced Logistics Management Specialist with responsibility for performing work that involves planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission or other designated program and the execution of these programs in support of day-to-day and disaster operations.

To qualify for this Logistics Management Specialist position at the IC-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Analyzing and evaluating difficult logistics management issues involving agency programs, policies, and agency missions. Conducting management evaluations of logistics management programs for compliance with policies and regulations OR PhD or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR Combination of education and experience. To qualify for this Logistics Management Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Leading or participating as a team member on a project team regarding logistics management studies requiring the participation of multiple subject matter specialists.
