You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fleet Support Team Department at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures. You will manage integrated logistical support (ILS) tasks or resources (e.g., materials, manpower, facilities, supply support, test equipment, packaging, storage, transportation, technical data) to meet support requirements. You will lead a team in implementing project plans to meet logistics objectives. You will analyze logistics procedures to support and sustain aircraft systems products.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional (SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST) performing duties such as: 1) Developing plan objectives and management strategies for current and long-range program tasks related to assigned aircraft platform and associated components that results in complete sustainment for Fleet customers. 2) Directing and managing work objectives, delegating work, and assigning projects to team members (Logistics Element Managers, Data Analyst, Technical Data Managers, engineers and other specialists) to ensure optimum program ILS. 3) Developing, planning, and implementing Engineering Change Proposals for Class I and CLass II ECPs. 4) Planning the logistics budget, accounting for all resources to meet program office requirements and adhere Total Cost Wise Readiness goals, while ensuring the logistics products provided are meeting all requirements for platform sustainment. 5) Executing and managing all logistics products in accordance with established site and Head Quarters policies and procedures for the applicable FST Logistics Departments (Maintenance; Technical Data; Personnel, and Training; Supply; and Data Analytics) required to ensure effective, efficient, and consistent FST performance. 6) Providing supervision and leading a team that is responsible to develop new and unique solutions to complex problems, often improving on existing in-service support and establishing a new state-of-the-art support system Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
