The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Senior Program Analyst within HQ AFMC/DS. Primary responsibilities include individual performing Task Management Tool (TMT) Help Desk duties supporting the entire Command.
Duties
DUTY 1: Performs studies and establishes plans of actions for improving the efficiency of Task Management Tool (TMT) applications.
DUTY 2: Provides customer assistance, training and documentation support HQ AFMC, Centers and Installations.
DUTY 3: Serves as a senior program analyst in assessing platform requirements.
DUTY 4: Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other HQ AFMC offices, other MAJCOMs, HQ USAF levels, other services/agencies, and DoD offices in matters relating to Command taskings and Command level events.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience applying knowledge of a broad range of systems analysis concepts, techniques, and principles sufficient to evaluate business practices and processes, evaluate the feasibility of systems development projects, and develop functional requirements and specifications as well as applying knowledge of complex data management concepts, principles, and methods sufficient to evaluate effectiveness of systems, develop and design programs, and to conduct performance-testing activities to optimize processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Mastery of the organization's policy and planning formulation process along with its missions and objectives to prepare IT polices and plans.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of systems analysis concepts, techniques, and principles sufficient to evaluate business practices and processes, evaluate the feasibility of systems development projects, and develop functional requirements and specifications.
3. Knowledge of complex data management concepts, principles, and methods sufficient to evaluate effectiveness of systems, develop and design programs, and to conduct performance-testing activities to optimize processes.
4. Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, review/revise/develop policy, initiate plans for enhancements, and provide management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgments.
5. Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.
