This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 12 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 13 grade step 10 in the broadband.

Duties

Provide advisory services to senior official for the protocol program and public communications functions. Serve as a consultant for briefings, conferences, and social functions involving high-ranking officials of the United States Government and foreign nations' governments. Develop comprehensive Command wide guidance, direction, and policies, for the protocol program. Monitor the status of work assignments, making adjustments in accordance with established suspense's.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
• You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• This position requires the incumbent to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
