You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (ER/LR) in the 00027 HQ US MARINE CORPS of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will apply labor management issues, laws, precedents, procedures, and techniques to participate in a labor relations program effectively and efficiently.
You will work with legal council in case procedure, personnel procedures, labor/employee relations intricacies, and assist council with support before third parties.
you will council employees and managers on their respective responsibilities, rights, and obligations.
You will draft written responses and researches background materials to assist supervisors and managers in their decision-making.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directly advising managers and supervisors on moderately difficult to complex areas of performance, discipline, leave administration, and grievances with limited supervision, drafting written correspondence on discipline and performance-based actions AND frequently conduct independent inquiries to ascertain facts of a situation or problem.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directly advising managers and supervisors on moderately difficult to complex areas of performance, discipline, leave administration, and grievances with limited supervision, drafting written correspondence on discipline and performance-based actions.

Qualifying education for the GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
