Serves as a Program Manager in the Distance Learning Branch, AMA-024 within the FAA Academy.

Duties

Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Plans and assists with organizing available resources to accomplish projects/programs/activities; makes optimal use of resources to complete activities within established schedules.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (GS/FG-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience in project management; experience identifying, interpreting, and applying guidance, policy, and regulations to assigned projects; experience defining and developing internal policies and procedures; experience developing and maintaining project plans and schedules.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
