You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPEC (CLASS/RECR) in the Human Resources and Organizational Management Branch of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will advise hiring managers and supervisors on recruitment methods and flexibilities, and Federal hiring authorities.
You will provide advice and guidance to customers on a wide variety of Human Resources principles, regulations, policies, and procedures.
You will consult and mange selections; make qualification and eligibility determinations; coordinate pre-employment processes and requirements, and complete on boarding.
You will advise hiring managers and supervisors on recruitment, relocation and retention incentives and various compensation flexibilities.
You will advise on the general application of classification standards, including supervisory and team lead positions.
You will consult and mange selections; make qualification and eligibility determinations; coordinate pre-employment processes and requirements, and complete onboarding.
You will apply federal recruitment and placement laws, regulations, policies, and practices to solve recruitment and placement issues.
You will collaborate with management officials to write and review position descriptions; providing advice to managers and personnel on the federal hiring process; and assessing organizational.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledgeable in applying recruitment and placement laws, regulations, policies, and practices to solve recruitment and placement issues; Provides guidance/resolutions to management on all recruitment and placement issues.; Track recruitment actions to ensure management's recruitment goals are met.
GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: operating HR/personnel systems; generating and reviewing personnel actions; and applying Human Resources recruitment and staffing regulations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
