You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in the CENTER FOR INFORMATION WARFARE TRAINING DIRECTORATE of CENINFOWARTRA PENSACOLA FL.
Duties
You will coordinate capital investment information with portfolio management and information technology (IT) spending plans or budgets.
You will conduct workforce planning (e.g., manpower, resource management) for an information technology (IT) program to meet projected goals.
You will develop future services demand plans for workload growth or shrinkage.
You will develop information systems life cycle enhancements to improve overall operational efficiency.
You will advise employees on information technology (IT) program goals and objectives.
You will administer data center virtualization technologies (e.g., current, updated, emerging) training for consistent application of technical criteria.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 Cyberspace Workforce Framework within 12 months of appointment.
- Work is primarily performed in an office stting, Location may vary between CIWT commands and learning sites within the AOR.
- Work is sedentary with some travel rquired in and out of the continental United States, sometime on short notice. Short fused or emergent requirements require flexibility in work schedule.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: sector 1) Ensures continuous availability and accessibility of Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks for training; 2) Develops technical standards and requirements for the acquisition of network hardware, software and services; 3) Directs program information reviews to determine the status, functional adequacy and quality of network services; 4) Reviews proposals for system changes that consist of objectives, scope and user expectations; and 5) Plans and assigns work to subordinates based on overall priorities.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Analyzes data and prepares a project synopsis which compares alternatives in terms cost, time, necessary equipment and staff. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Briefs systems status to senior leadership. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
