You will serve as a Public Private Venture Quality Assurance Specialist in the Public Private Venture Division, Asset Management Business Line, of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will analyze PPV metrics and monitor business agreement information on PPV projects such as maintenance quality, sustainment work, and site assessments. You will brief management on overall effectiveness of quality assurance (QA) efforts. You will use computers and application software such as spreadsheets, word processors, databases, graphics, slide presentations, and other specialized applications. You will advise leadership on technical requirements or issues based on the results of inspections or assessments. You will conduct oversight of the PPV projects and monitor property management performance to ensure all work is in compliance with the business agreements.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: sector 1) Ability to conduct oversight of the PPV projects and monitor property management performance to ensure all work is in compliance with the business agreements.2) Familiarity with the various construction trades, skills in HAVC systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems or civil works. 3) Ability to analyze PPV metrics and monitor business agreement information on PPV projects such as maintenance quality, sustainment work,and site assessments. 4) Knowledge and experience in engineering technology, design, estimating criteria, Navy/US building codes, safety regulations, construction techniques, facility Maintenance/repair techniques and engineering principles.5) Must have the ability to use computers and application software such as spreadsheets, word processors, databases, graphics, slide presentations, and other specialized application such as YARDI or other Property management software.
