You will serve as a SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS MANAGER in the OPERATIONS/PLAN DEPARTMENT - NAVY CLOSURE TASK FORCE - RED HILL of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.

Duties

You will develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes related to resources, operations, and management in an organization. You will supervise or lead a team by assigning and directing work, monitoring performance, establishing priorities and adjusting workload. You will brief senior leaders or managers on reference materials (e.g., directives, policy, reports, technical or legislative documents) for discussion in decision meetings. You will advise organization or senior leaders in the development of solutions for confronting challenges. You will coordinate project activities to ensure objectives are accomplished within timeframes and according to procedures. You will advise on policy, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of resources and manpower for the organization. You will develop written reports to address manpower budget status, imbalances, or deficiencies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develops and issues guidance governing Operations/Plans programs, including guidance required in response to legislative changes; 2) Approves short and long-range plans, goals and objectives for regional Operations/Plans programs and manages work; 3) Develops organization structure, policies, goals and objectives for specific Operations/Plans programs; 4) Directs budget, procurement, accounting and associated final operations for the Operations/Plans programs; 5) Represents the command at conferences involving local, state, and federal agencies having interface and cooperative interests in matters impacting the command; and 6) Provides supervisory responsibility for a staff to include performance, EEO, awards, hiring/selections and discipline.
