You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Portfolio Directorate Business Financial Management Branches within the Business Operations Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Duties
You will lead a team of government and contractor personnel in financial planning, execution, monitoring, analysis, reporting and the translation of actions, both past and proposed.
You will organize, plan, schedule, and prioritize the team members workloads and maintain oversight of work accomplishment.
You will closely monitor the financial activities within the financial group/program analysis and provide training and guidance to all grade level program analysts.
You will monitor all incoming and outgoing funding transactions, and Managerial/Financial Execution Reporting performing monthly analysis of financial operations.
You will assist the Portfolio Financial Managers (PFM's) in improving work methods and procedures used to produce work products.
You will provide advice and assistance on all areas including budget, manpower, management analysis, finance and accounting, information management, and business process reviews.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of financial management programs to budget and formulate resolution to financial issues.
