Duties
You will manage the individual processes for major capital improvements to include desktop procedures at the division, branch, and section level to account for minor variations, changes to processes flow charts, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.
You will be responsible for managing the construction, repair, maintenance, and facilities services requirements of the installation, outlying fields, and supported tenants.
You will manage integrated budget lists.
You will match funding for completed designed projects for the current fiscal year (program execution plan), two out-years (program action plan) and long range maintenance plan.
You will resolve contractual issues i.e. modifications, amendments, task orders, etc.
You will serve as the Chair for the following Systems Management Boards: Recurring Work board, Preventive Maintenance Board, Requirements Board, Service Managers Board, Controlled Inspection Board, among other boards.
You will manage the warranty program, oversee the warranty board, and provide direction or guidance to the warranty program technician; and resolve issues to ensure warranty items are resolved.
You approve requests for outages and service disruptions under Facilities Maintenance Department cognizance for both internally and externally driven requirements.
You will provide supervision to approximately 15 employees to include one subordinate supervisor.
You must have knowledge of facilities maintenance requirements, engineering technician concepts, routine practices, inspections, and administrative functions.
You may be subject to working around oils, entering manholes, climbing on roofs or entering attic spaces.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating engineering methods while creating and generating reports within data management systems (such as USMCMAX) to analyze performance.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
