Qualifications
We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-11 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-09 level defined as interpreting administrative policies and implementing procedures to cover internal operations; compiling required documents and reviewing and tracking personnel actions; and monitoring the procurement of supplies, property, and services.- OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., in an academic discipline related to this position- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-11 level defined as analyzing administrative policies, developing and implementing procedures to cover internal operations, and providing advice to management; preparing and tracking personnel actions and coordinating responses to action items; and managing the procurement of supplies, property, and services.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of administrative rules, regulations, and policies.
Skill in written communication.
Ability to direct a comprehensive support program by providing services necessary to the operation of the organization.
Ability to conduct and apply analytical and evaluative methods to improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
