As an Administrative Officer in the OIG's Office of Administration, you will serve as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Administration (DAIGA).Location of position:GSA OIG Office of Administration1800 F St NWWashington, D.C. 20405The OIG's Office of Administration acts as mission support in which the DAIGA will lead programs that support our auditors, evaluators, attorneys, and investigators who ensure the OIG mission is carried out effectively.
Duties
The incumbent of this Administrative Officer position serves as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Administration (DAIGA) and acts as the ‘alter-ego’ to the Assistant Inspector General for Administration (AIG for Administration) in the leadership and direction of programs relating to financial management, contracting, facilities and property management, human resources management, and information technology. The incumbent is responsible for carrying out a variety of important assignments in connection with the management and activities of the Office of Administration (OA). In concert with the AIG for Administration, oversees and provides direction in program areas related to financial management, contracting, facilities and property management, human resources management, records management, and information technology. Provides program oversight to administrative supervisors and program leads typically at the GS-14 or GS-15 levels.

Qualifications
The GS-15 salary range starts at $163,964 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience that involves directing, supervising, planning or coordinating a variety of administrative functions supporting national or headquarters level programs in at least two of the following disciplines:
Financial Management and Budget
Contracting
Facilities Operations
Human Resources Operations
Information Technology
Records Management
Education
