Duties
You will analyze acquisition histories to determine if consolidate, schedule, and mass purchases can be made to obtain volume discounts and achieve monetary savings.
You will prepare solicitations and requests for proposals including statement of work, specifications, contract clauses, provisions, terms and conditions.
You will negotiate contracts including pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, and other provisions.
You will conduct market research, cost analysis, and cost estimates.
You will maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement transactions and provide contract status reports and metrics.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Functional knowledge of invoicing, payment terms, and basic fiscal procedures. Functional knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, contracting methods, and government procurement procedures.
