Duties

Gives oral briefings and presentations. Plans, forecasts and manages inventory and storage requirements for items. Reviews statement received from bank to ensure amounts charged are complete and correct before forwarding to our Approving Official. Initiates Financial Liability for Property Loss (FLPL) for reported lost, damaged or destroyed equipment.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Qualified typist is required.
  • TDY travel is occasionally required 10%.
  • Must possess and maintain a current and valid state driver's license.
  • Satisfactory medical examination is required prior to assignment into the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include coordinating with the Property Book officer, contract administrators, contractors, purchasing, storage, inspection and other supply support personnel. Controlling and holding all issue and turn-in documents for Property book inventories. Maintaining computer databases on supply storage, requisitions and turn-ins of all repair parts and equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationSupply PlanningSupply SupportTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-6).
