About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Supply Technician for the Supply Chain Management Branch which provides Class VIII medical supply and medical equipment support to the Womack Army Medical Center(WAMC) Department of Operative and Anesthesia Services (DOAS) under the Supply Chain Management Branch. The incumbent is responsible for supervising the work performed by five employees and one Prime Vendor contractor.
Duties
Utilize the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) to sustain an audit trail on all requisitions, issues and turn-ins.
Provide staff advice and guidance to command elements.
Develop performance standards to evaluate subordinate work performance.
Identify the developmental needs of employees by providing/or arranged training.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) may be required for this position.
- This position requires a Pre-Appointment Physical.
- Position may lift up to 50 pounds.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
