About the Position: Serves as a supervisory supply technician for the Supply Chain Material Branch Medical Warehouse (SCMB) for the Womack Army Medical Center, Department of Logistics.

Duties

Manage Pharmaceutical and/or Medical/Surgical vendor contracts for the Installation Medical Supply Activity (IMSA). Coordinate Class VIII expendable and non-expendable medical supplies as the Prime Vendor Manager. Maintain daily call register files ensuring that requests are transmitted through the use of DMLSS and EDS/Prime Vendor Ordering System. Track, review, and report on all supply systems affecting the activities within the area of responsibility. Manage shift schedules for storage facility employees within the supply chain. Develop performance standards to evaluate subordinate work performance. Identify the developmental needs of employees by providing/or arranged training. Manage vendor’s accounts for various organizations within the agency. Perform supply technical duties related to standard and non-standard medical supplies ordered on standing orders. Review, verify and reconcile each monthly statement of account (SOA).

• Incumbent may be required to report to work during periods of inclement weather.
• Position may lift up to 50 pounds.
• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a current military and state driver's license.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond one year (total semester hours minus 18) by 9. Add the two percentages.
