The primary purpose of this position is to provide continuing oversight and assessment of the Directorate's total workload, including responsibility to identify what issues requiring the direct attention of senior level (i.e., Flag Officer, SES, O-6, GS-15) leadership team members.

Duties
DUTY 1:
Performs organization and administrative management functions as an Executive Assistant (EA) supporting the J8 leadership team. Facilitates communications and interactions of the J8 and staff with other Command management officials and partners throughout the Command and DoD cyberspace program by drawing on organizational and administrative skills, as well as insights into current priorities.
DUTY 2:
Manages all phases of the J8 action item life cycle, from receipt to completion, to assure the Command and its SMEs provide responses that are fully responsive to taskers initiated by the Command leadership and higher echelons and aligned with the J8's positions and priorities.
DUTY 3:
Draws on personal knowledge and Command knowledge base assets to plan/facilitate, contribute to, and coordinate other inputs for J8 special projects.

Qualifications
This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices associated with management and program analyses of complex programs to acquire and manage resources to satisfy mission requirements. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Ability to select, adapt, and apply program analysis concepts, methods, and tools to plan and manage analyses of program planning/resources management issues and generate narrative and statistical reports.
2. Ability to apply knowledge of DoD resources management concepts and functions to conduct program/project planning and analysis.
3. Skill in use of advanced functions of Microsoft Office Suite applications to facilitate organization, analysis, and presentation of large volumes of narrative and numerical/statistical data, and preparation of executive-level briefings.
4. Ability to provide a comprehensive program of administrative management services to maintain efficient, effective operations of a "line" component.
5. Ability to plan and manage projects requiring collaboration with various internal and external components.
6. Skill in communicating complex information on resources planning and management findings and recommendations in various forms and to various audiences.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
1. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
2. This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by incumbent s in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. Therefore, incumbent is required to: (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs, and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing. Incumbent may be selected for random drug testing and may be subject to reasonable suspicion testing and safety mishap or accident testing.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
