About the Position: Fort Liberty is known as the "Home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces." It is a culturally diverse area with both rural and city populations and is co-located at Fayetteville, NC. It is centrally located just hours away from the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains. Fayetteville Regional Airport is located 12 miles outside of Fort Liberty's gates and Raleigh-Durham International Airport is 70 miles away.

Duties

Develop and manage actions that provide activities, units and installations with automated logistic/ transportation systems support. Coordinate the fielding of automated transportation systems to FORSCOM activities, units and installations. Facilitate the development or integration of automated systems to take full advantage of existing computer capabilities and new or evolving technologies. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of strategic mobility program Identify and resolve issues in assigned functional area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Incumbent required to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
• TDY travel up to 25% may be required.
