Duties
Serves as a Prevention Program Specialist in the Family Advocacy Program, Behavioral Health Branch, Marine and Family Programs Division, Headquarters Marine Corps. Serves as an advisor for oversight and development of various Family Advocacy prevention training programs to include research of unit level operations; critical assessment and training evaluation processes and procedures, and development and conduct of training curricula that provides specific and measurable learning objectives.

Qualifications
Master¿s Degree in a Behavioral Health field is highly preferred. Bachelor¿s Degree in a Behavioral Health field appropriate to Family Advocacy Prevention AND three years of experience that demonstrates extensive knowledge of Family Advocacy prevention. Ability to act as a responsible point of contact to ensure development of the Family Advocacy prevention and intervention program to include research of operations; critical assessment and training evaluation processes and procedures, and development and conduct of training curricula that provides specific and measurable learning objectives.Must have comprehensive knowledge of domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect prevention, domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect treatment programs and its effects on people. Skill to: establish and maintain effective relationships with, and gain confidence and cooperation of supervisors and managers to accept proposals on complex issues; organize and communicate effectively orally and in writing at briefings and training sessions, with VIP's, media representatives and in professional conferences and training workshops to encourage understanding and acceptance of programming.Skill to review, modify, develop, and implement domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect prevention and intervention educational training programs that are timely, relevant to military commanders' needs, flexible and sustainable in execution. Skill to conduct presentations, and deliver education and training using a variety of techniques and methods on domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect prevention. Skill to prepare and obtain training materials used in domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect prevention programs to include: lesson plans, resource guides, films, and other sources of information.Telework: Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MF policy.
