Duties
Provides overall direction of daily operations to a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and technicians responsible for contact with lessees, royalty/production reporters, and other government agencies for the purpose of ensuring data integrity.
Defines and communicates performance expectations and evaluates staff performance. Effectively counsels employees on performance and conduct. Conducts employee evaluations and recommends appropriate training and development opportunities.
Supports the Data Intake Solutioning and Coordination (DISC) values of Versatility, Unity, Empowerment, and Trust.
Facilitates communication and collaboration between team members and other Federal Partners to ensure consistent application and interpretation of policies and procedures, especially on cross-cutting issues.
Analyzes work processes and coordinates activities to improve data quality, organizational productivity, and customer service. Leads groups in developing new processes to adapt, wen needed, and to continuously improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
At the GS-13 level, you must meet the following qualification:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level.Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes, but is not limited to (1) Guiding and motivating others; obtaining understanding, confidence, and support of others in accomplishing work activities; (2) interpreting complex regulations, lease terms, settlements, and legal decisions to provide technical guidance to management, co-workers or other Federal Partners; (3) preparing written documentation or oral communication support of complex or controversial issues; and (4) assisting management in activities concerning reference data, production reporting, and royalty reporting to assure the reference data is accurate and that reported production/royalty reporting are in compliance with current procedure, policies and regulations.
