You will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the Ammunition Supply Chain Strategy Division of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.

Duties

You will manage the development of tools and logic to deliver intermediate solutions for system limitations. Tools include ad hoc queries and databases to support routine data calls from mid to high level officials. i.e. OSD, FMO and OPNAV You will monitor/manage emerging trends in supply chain management and DoD policies/procedures for assigned areas. As principal contributor, develop short/long range planning for cognizant functions and develop/implement processes for these plans. You will provide advice, counsel and instructions to subordinate on work and administrative matters You will evaluate completed work for achievement of management objectives and fulfillment of command requirements and report on achievements, difficulties and proposed solutions to senior leadership

  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing Management and Program Analyst work that requires utilizing a mastery knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in order to support the conventional ordnance stockpile supply and recommend and execute changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of program. I have experience in Inventory management processes and practices as well as experience with Ordnance systems in order to research and resolve complex inventory management issues. I have experience in reporting procedures, policies and standards that contribute to the overall accuracy of stockpile of conventional ordnance to include Financial improvement and audit readiness compliance. I have experience leading and assigning work based on subordinate skill level. Examples of specialized experience may include 1) oversees the cataloging process for the ammunition supply chain; 2) Ensures all transactional reporting and stock record during the in-service phase of its life cycle; 3) Identify delays or difficulties and direct corrective actions or work around to ensure timely completion.
