You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Integrated Weapons System Teams of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will develop processes to track, manage and achieve on-time delivery goals and post contract award management.
You will serve as the focal point for internal and external communications to ensure coordination and alignment.
You will track supplier performance, field questions concerning assigned suppliers' performance and work closely with Integrated Weapon Systems Teams (IWST) to develop integrated solutions sets to supplier problems.
You will be the key Point of Contact (POC) for Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) engagements regarding key supplier challenges within the Department.
You will recognize the greatest portion of costs associated with supporting a system or equipment occurs during the sustainment phase and seek to optimize operational readiness and life cycle affordability.
Requirements

Logistics Management Level I. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of the relationships in life cycle logistics support planning, acquisition policy, supportability analyses, and program management. I have experience tracking supplier performance, fielding questions concerning assigned suppliers' performance and developing integrated solutions sets to supplier problems. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing supply processes to track, manage and achieve on-time delivery goals and post contract award management; 2) Serving as the focal point for internal and external communications to ensure coordination and alignment; 3) Providing integrated logistics, platform and weapons system program support.
