You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST in the FLEET READINESS CENTER FRCMA VRT DEPT NRFK PROD BR of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.
Duties

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience performing the following duties:
Possess comprehensive knowledge of shipboard installed AIRCRAFT LAUNCH and RECOVERY EQUIPMENT (ALRE) operations and maintenance including;
Managing a large-scale budget (ex: excess of $10 million dollars) to ensure the proper resources (facilities, equipment, machinery, labor) are established for ALRE systems and component repairs and overhaul;
Assess organizational capability and capacity in support of maintenance projects and requirements;
Establish shop priorities to meet fleet and shore facilities schedules for repairs of aircraft carrier, air capable ships, and shore facilities;
Have experience in or understanding of a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures personnel, processes, procedures, and other resources involved in the manufacture, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of ALRE systems and components meet ISO 9001, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, and other applicable standards, and
Interface with customer to convey requirements and receive feedback on team performance.
