About the Position: The incumbent will assist with training and operations for the Vice Provost for Digital Education Strategic Plans and Policy Division.
Duties
This list is not all-inclusive:
Review and perform functional testing of contractor and government-developed Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courseware.
Ensure IMI courseware complies with technical standards and specifications.
Update databases, courseware repository listings.
Prepare reports of findings of courseware review/testing, identifying acceptability and/or deficiencies found during reviews.
Determines level of completeness based on report findings.
Capture measurable objectives to document quantifiable achievements in mission accomplishment.
Contacts proponents to transfer completed courseware files when course has meet/exceeded policy standards.
Act a liaison for various organizations and procedures concerning course development and the functions of the office.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) for business travel up to 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) providing administrative support such as preparing written communication or reports, inspecting submissions for compliance with published standards, etc.; 2) maintaining information or databases utilizing automated systems; and 3) performing liaison functions between various offices/organizations to coordinate work efforts/processes.

Education: Successful completion of one year (i.e., 18 semester hours) of graduate level education in a filed which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are directly related to the work of this position. (NOTE: You MUST submit copies of ALL your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. (NOTE: You MUST submit copies of ALL your transcripts.)
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). Please see the specific instructions regarding supporting documentation for Time in Grade requirements in the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS section, below.
NOTE: Applicants must meet all Time-in-Grade requirements and experience requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Current employees applying under VEOA are subject to time-in-grade restrictions like any other GS employee.
