You will serve as a PW MOBILE DEVICES AND APPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE (PWBL), RESOURCE AND ASSESSMENT DIVISION (PW1) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will provide oversight and analysis of all facets of handling and controls for the PW mobile devices and related components, including inventory management, training, and providing customer service/assistance.
You will provide administrative and evaluative work and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature.
You will perform analysis and evaluations of IT mobile assets, inventory controls, and training attainment in order
to advise senior management of the effectiveness of the programs operations.
You will perform data collection to measure efficiency, improve quality, cut costs, and manage resource
allocation.
You will research enterprise best business practices and works with other Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs) to determine applicability and suitability of program improvement implementation.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Operating Apple devices, as well as other mobile phones, cradle points, and other mobile devices; 2) Utilizing Microsoft Teams, Outlook, STS, and Maximo; 3) Applying inventory management policies and procedures and maintaining accountability of IT mobile device assets; 4) Managing the financial system and budget development process; 5) Analyzing and reporting patterns and trends and recommending changes as appropriate; and 6) Demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely provide direction, guidance, and recommendations.
