Duties

Development of reports, summaries, policies, and procedures, and other correspondence to track performance, budget, and standardization requirements and/or submissions. Advises in the development of policy, procedures and other guidance related to management program areas across a Global Enterprise. Provides general support to clinic administrative and leadership personnel across multiple subject areas. Analyzes statistical data to determine validity of information, identify problems and trends; resolve various issues analyzes and provides completed product; ensure sufficient internal control measures and mechanisms are in place and in use. Reviews operations and recommends corrective actions as necessary to ensure activities are managed and operated on a sound financial basis, are in compliance with policy, and are consistent with standardization initiatives. Performs comparative analyses of activities to each other, budget, and / or industry best practices, and develops reports to outline opportunities to support enterprise decision making.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: One(1) year specialized experience directly related to the duties described in the position description. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for specialized experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Knowledge of principles, concepts, and methodologies required to perform various analytical techniques. Ability to analyze operations and financial data and to prepare reports and replies to inquiries. Knowledge of basic business financial and operating reports. Strong written and oral communication skills. Comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability with standard office software programs such as databases, spreadsheets, word processors, graphics, etc. Preferred Criteria: More than one (1) year experience in a Central Fund or other Veterinary Practice or MWR facility responsible for fund operations such as daily report review/submission, monthly report submission, income statement review, etc. Experience supporting standardization initiatives. Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as ROVR (VSSM), SMIRF, ACESS online (GPC) and Covetrus Animal Health online ordering. More than six (6) months experience as a GPC card holder or billing official. One (1) year experience in veterinary practice. Highly Preferred Criteria: More than two (2) years experience in a Central Fund clinic responsible for fund operations such as DAR review/submission, monthly report submission, income statement review, etc. Experience supporting US Army PHC Veterinary Medical Standardization Board initiatives such as vaccination protocols and wellness packages. Highly experienced using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as ROVR (VSSM), SMIRF, ACESS online (GPC) and Covetrus Animal Health online ordering. More than two (2) years experience as a GPC card holder or billing official. Lean Six Sigma trained at the Greenbelt level or higher. Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) Certification.
