Duties
As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER (WMD URGENT SOLUTIONS) at the GS-0340-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Oversee a wide range of Budget Activity Advanced Technology Development designed to provide threat based, operationally-driven, solutions to counter adversary activities along the entire WMD continuum, with special emphasis on preventing reducing and countering WMD/ emerging threats below the level of armed conflict.
Supervise technology solutions that support campaign-based approaches to deter, prevent and prevail against state and non-state actor WMD threats.
Supervise collaborative RDT&E across the US government that develops cost-effective, innovative technologies that advance the CWMD mission.
Supervise the RDT&E which addresses USSOCOM and Combatant Command Irregular Warfare specific CWMD requirements, processes, and operational considerations.
Supervise technology development that supports DoD operations which counter WMD threats .
Routinely collaborate with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Combatant Commands, and other DoD organizations as well as government agencies and the intelligence community.
Supervise and mentor a consistent Division-Wide approach to evaluating employees, selecting and training high performing teams, assigning work, and recommending awards or other recognition.
Supervise the Division's execution of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies, goals, and objectives..

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade GS-14level in the Federal service:
Expert skill with science and technology that enhances Special Operations Forces and combined arms Task Forces' ability to counter WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction).
Expert experience directing a civilian and military professional staff in the development and execution of R&D programs responsive to combatant commands, the military Services, and other DoD user organizations.
Experience providing expert guidance to program teams supporting DoD operations to counter WMD threats through WMD Pathway Defeat and WMD Defeat, also providing expert guidance to close any associated capability gaps through technology development.
Expert experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes to include the development of Program Objective Memorandum input, suitable for presentation to Agency Directors and OSD seniors. Expert experience with spend planning, spend plan execution and OSD goals.
Expert experience in stewarding acquisition processes such as contracts, military interdepartmental purchase requests, Inter Agency Cost Reimbursement Orders, statements of work, and task orders into an acquisition strategy that enables rapid acquisition in support of warfighter needs.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
