About the Position: Incumbent will serve as U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Senior Logistician for the region assigned. Must be multi-weapon system trained on two or more aviation/missile systems.

Duties

Apply principal methods for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring and managing projects with resources, to include technical performance readiness on missile weapon systems. Identify and analyze problems using sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions while finding alternative solutions to complex problems to make logical judgements for missile weapon systems. Demonstrate missile weapon systems life cycle management concepts used to plan, develop, implement, operate, and maintain information systems. Resolve conflicts, confrontations, and disagreements in a positive constructive manner to minimize negative personal impact. Expresses facts and ideas in writing in a succinct and organized manner.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to possess, obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires the incumbent to travel away from the duty station on multiple overnight trips up to 50% of the time.
  • Performs Logistics Assistance under field conditions in CONUS/OCONUS.
  • This position requires the employees to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
  • Position is Emergency Essential. In the event of a crisis situation, the incumbent or designated alternate must continue to perform EE duties until relieved by proper authority.
  • Incumbent must be willing to accept the conditions and sign the DD Form 2365, DoD Civilian Employee Overseas Emergency Position Agreement, prior to entrance on duty.
  • Employee must be able to pass an appropriate initial physical examination, an annual, a deployment physical, and agility test in accordance with AMC Regulation 700-19.
  • This position requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid official Passport.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Government Credit Card.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a valid state vehicle operator’s license in CONUS and as required by the OCONUS Country of assignment.
  • Incumbent is required to be mobile for worldwide assignments as the needs of the service dictate, per AR 700-4.
  • Incumbent may be on-call, work irregular hours, accompany the assigned unit during technical and training field exercises, and deploy to contingency areas in support of the command's weapon systems.
