You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Energetic and ordnance Components and Ordnance Systems for Surface Warfare Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.
Duties
You will test system capabilities including integration with multiple combat systems including, but not limited to, AEGIS and Ship Self Defense system interfaces.
You will perform Close-In Weapons Systems (CIWS) system operational and Verification testing (SOVT).
You will provide full range technical, mechanical, operational and tactical training to Ship's force.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to work onboard ships.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 (GS-9/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing and developing technical procedures to execute Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS) installation and maintenance including testing and performing ship alterations.
