This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Human Resources Division (HR), Program and Workforce Analytics Section (HRX)
The core function of this position is to skillfully analyze, restructure, and implement policies, systems, and procedures, employing data analytics to significantly improve service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: 1) Contributing to the implementation and management of data analytics and process improvement initiatives; focusing on querying data from validated sources and showcasing an understanding of specific programming languages relevant to data analytics; 2) Focusing on developing new methods to effectively recognize essential issues and challenges in strategic and workforce planning; 3) Providing support in addressing human resource program requirements for a diverse range of customers, conducting interviews to ascertain issues and gather facts, and collect information for decisions, while also negotiating and resolving conflicts.
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: 1) Monitoring the execution and management of data analytics and process improvement initiatives with a specific emphasis on querying data from validated sources using programming languages; 2) Conducting research and innovating methodologies to identify critical strategic and workforce issues; as well as to address and resolve related planning issues; 3) Refining the human resource program requirements for a diverse range of clients, engaging in interviews to identify concerns and gather facts for informed decision-making, and facilitating effective conflict resolution.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
