About the Position: This position is located in the J-1, Administration and Management, Human Capital Division, Strength Management Branch and it is located in Falls Church, Virginia or San Antonio Texas.

Duties
Assist with HR strength management of both civilian and military positions with responsibility for developing plans and information applicable to multiple organizations within the agency.
Collect and analyze pertinent organizational workload data and develops statistical analysis to justify any changes and recommendations
Provide input in the development of the DHA Human Capital Distribution Plan (HCDP), including assist in the development of goals that will enable the Agency to accomplish its mission.
Utilize automation tools to pull standard reports from source systems or create ad hoc queries for additional specific personnel reports for data analysis.
Assist with civilian strength management studies relating to such factors as turnover, DHA directed reductions, and mission evolution to identify trends and anticipated changes that may impact the enterprise workforce.
Conduct assigned manpower reviews and analysis concerning areas such as missions (current and future), capabilities, requirements, and command and operational relationships.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Requirements for GS-12:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying human resources regulations, policies, and/or guidance to complete assigned duties; extracting data from multiple data systems; assisting with conducting research and/or analysis on a variety of workforce issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
