This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, DISTRICT 31.
As an Management and Program Analyst (Administration), you will conduct and lead diverse and unique projects to improve the administration of the District's subordinate Field Offices and to ensure that adequate internal controls are in place in those Field Offices.
Duties
Performs complex data pulls from administrative systems in order to perform in-depth studies
Provides in-depth analysis of district/field office administrative programs; responds to data calls from higher headquarters to provide fully analyzed data
Develops, organizes, and delivers reports of analyzed data
Serves as the District lead for internal controls programs
Develops and facilitates training for the District and Field Office Operations Support Specialists
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/21/2023.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/21/2023.
Selective Placement Factor: You must have programming ability in either SQL or Python and consider yourself an expert in Tableau Development. This experience must be documented in your resume. Failure to do so may result in an ineligible rating.
GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive administrative systems and/or programs that required applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques
Performing a variety of analytical studies and projects related to management improvement, administrative workflow improvement, internal controls, and long-range planning
Providing recommendations to parties dealing with various management levels throughout an agency or organization
Resolving broad and/or complex problems and issues associated with the planning, coordination, and implementation of agency programs and activities
