About the Position: This position is located at Clinical Operations, Defense Health Network - Central Office, San Antonio, TX. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Duties

Analyze trends in mission-critical occupations to develop recruitment and/or retention strategies. Advise on succession planning and/or workforce development approaches. Evaluate manpower needs against established healthcare delivery goals. Assess emerging missions requirements to identify changes in healthcare demand. Reallocate personnel authorizations to improve health care delivery. Advise on hazardous material activities and disposal procedures to ensure compliance with governing policies. Recommend manpower adjustments or changes to improve healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
