About the Position: As a management analyst, prepares and maintains Tables of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) and the Mobilization TDA (MOBTDA) in accordance with higher headquarters guidance. Responsible for analyzing changes in manpower and equipment TDA requirements, organizational changes and resources. Formulates and issues program limitations by category (i.e., warrant, officer, officer, enlisted and civilian) for all activities; and prepares long range manpower projects.
Duties
Serve as management analyst planning, promoting, and executing all aspects of one or more management programs.
Research complex problems, analyze solutions or provide recommendations based on knowledge of organization, programs, mission and functions.
Present briefings to managers and other staff officials to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
Determine detailed steps required to perform analysis, apply appropriate research methods and prepare detailed proposals or recommendations.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience(GS-11): One year of specialized experience which includes experience utilizing various databases to input and extract manpower data for analysis; reviewing, analyzing, and applying policies, procedures, or regulations to ensure compliance with organizational requirements; assisting with manpower, equipment, and/or management programs; identifying and evaluating problems and making recommendations for resolution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as business, accounting, marketing, finance, economics, political science.(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
