You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION N6.

Duties

You will provide Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and/or MS Office 365 support/transition services to commands/detachments ensuring user account data is properly submitted for NMCI and/or MS Office 365 account creations and/or Persona alignments. You will plan, participate, and lead NMCI and/or MS Office 365 user training sessions with the ability to provide required user training on a rotating basis. You will maintain and support the security of information within the NMCI and/or MS Office 365 tools in an effective, interoperable, scalable, reliable, integrated, and affordable fashion. You will develop and maintain appropriate documentation for tools/systems supported and ensure documentation reflects the appropriate interface requirements. You will ensure adherence to current NMCI contract requirements with regard to life cycle standards in the acquisition, maintenance, operation, and disposal of required hardware, support services, and other materials.

  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain/maintain credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area (411) Technical Support Specialist level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilize NMCI Tools and Systems, including NET/NEST, NMCI Move, Add, Changes (MACs) processing), and HP Service Manager; 2) Knowledge of NETC NMCI customer requirements review and validation processes; 3) Knowledge of and experience with NMCI order fulfillment processes in support of efficient service deliveries; 4) Utilize NMCI Seat Refresh processes and procedures; and 5) Knowledge of and experience in Navy Flank Speed O365 operations, including MS Teams, OneDrive, and mobility capabilities.
