About the Position: This position is located at the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Duties

Analyzes a wide variety of work force data to provide recommendations for improving the Human Resources management program. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of Human Resources products and processes Provides extensive knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, practices, and procedures governing civilian personnel management programs. Provides extensive knowledge in Human Capital Strategic Planning. Advises management on controversial or sensitive, complex and difficult Human Resources-related issues. Identifies technical discrepancies in CHR functional areas identifying the need for training, interventions, and strategies.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A secret clearance will be required.
  • TDY may be occasionally.
  • A two year probation may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience This definition of specialized experience which includes demonstrated experience in Civilian Human Resources processes; experience collecting, analyze and interpret data from a variety of Human Resources products; Understanding and applying principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies as related to Civilian Human Resources; use functional expertise to the development of data reports and process workflows. This typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: HR Information SystemsInformation ManagementOral CommunicationPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
