Duties
Responsible for personal property control, including development, implementation, upkeep, and operation of the SENTRY Property Management System (SPMS) within the Central Office. Assists in the evaluation, classification, reporting and final disposition of personal property. Review of potential excess personal property, including physical inspection to determine condition, classification, and decision-making with respect to further utilization or recommendations to declare personal property excess. Responsible for performing physical inventories of accountable personal property as well as providing technical guidance and training to others responsible for conducting inventories. Assists in planning, directing, supervising and coordinating programs related to the acquisition, release, construction, renovation, repair, improvement and management of real property of the institution.

Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. Education: GS-07: One full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. GS-09: A Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.B or J.D., if related. OR Experience: GS-07 and GS-09: One year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and this is typically in or related to the work of the position. Some examples of qualifying experience are: GS-07:
Experience conducting inventories and updating inventory or procurement data via automated or other data systems.
Experience verifying accuracy of documentation and the timely recording of orders for accountable property.
Experience and knowledge utilizing various procurement, inventorying techniques, and methods.
GS-09:
Experience training others in various inventory and accountability procedures.
Experience assisting in planning, directing, supervising, and coordinating programs related to acquisition, release, construction, renovation, etc.
Experience evaluating, classifying, and reviewing property, reporting and making recommendations for final disposition of property.
ORCombination of Education and Experience:GS-07 and GS-09: Have a combination of education and experience. This experience must have equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the major duties of this position as described above.
If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities.
