This vacancy is for a PROGRAM ANALYST position in the Customer Liaison and Marketing Services Office located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.
This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other PROGRAM ANALYST, 0343- 7/9/11/12, FPL GS-12, positions within the Census Bureau in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
Duties
Assist with the coordination of program areas, events, and conferences to promote their programs.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders/customers.
Providing exceptional customer service, guidance, and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Engage in collaborative efforts with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders to fulfill tasks, duties, and responsibilities.
Update and maintain database(s) using the current Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Answer customer questions via calls and emails from the public.
Must be able to acquire a government purchase card to make purchases for program areas/ADCOM staff.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-07, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to a GS-5 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes customer service skills, organizational skills, and some experience in handling questions from stakeholders/customers.
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education; or superior academic achievement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to a GS-7 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes customer service skills, organizational skills, program planning and coordination, and experience in handling questions from stakeholders/customers.
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to a GS-9 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes exceptional customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, experience in program planning and coordination, and experience in handling questions from stakeholders/customers.
OR
Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to a GS-11 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes exceptional customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, experience in program planning and coordination, and experience in handling questions from stakeholders/customers.
Education: Education CANNOT be substituted for experience.
