About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Program Analyst for the US Army Training Support Center at Fort Eustis, VA.

Duties

Serves as the divisions primary point of contact on program/budget matters. Develops financial plans and requirements in support of the Combined Arms Center (CAC) and Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) requirements. Reviews and interprets new and established directives, instructions, and regulations for potential impact on major program objectives, operating policies, work operations and progress. Organizes program and budget input into prescribed format, coordinating with and providing assistance in interpretation and any other necessary explanations.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position - must be able to obtain this certification within 24 months from hire date. (See "additional Information" section)

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). *NOTE: Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement.
