About the Position: The Religious Support Program Analyst serves as advisor to the Installation Management Command Directorate Training Director on all matters pertaining to IMCOM Service 106 (Religious Support). Responsible for overall development, planning, coordination, execution, and management of IMCOM Directorate RS programs.

Duties

As a Program Analyst (Religious Support), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list: Performs integrated management and direct assistance to garrison Religious Support Office Teams within the IMCOM Directorate area of responsibility. Perform analysis to determine performance and status of religious support programs and facilities across IMCOM Directorate - Training. Prepares briefs, fact sheets, information papers, and other written tools to inform decision makers.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • Business travel required 20% of the time.

Qualifications

The Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Directorate - Training (ID-T) is responsible for the Mission Command and leadership of 17 US Army Garrison commands and Support Activities that deliver and integrate Base Support services on Army installations to enable Army readiness. ID-T is aligned with the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Army War College and is physically located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, thereby, better enabling close collaboration with HQ TRADOC. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational Performance AnalysisTechnical CompetenceWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
