About the Position: This is an Supervisory Program Analyst in TRADOC Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8 at Fort Eustis, Virginia. Fort Eustis is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Transportation includes convenient interstate and major highways connecting the city to neighboring Hampton, York County, Gloucester, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Smithfield. The Tidewater area has all the conveniences of a big city with the charm of small town and rural areas.

Duties

Serves as Chief of the Training Programs Division, responsible for planning, programming, dollars and manpower resources in training and training support accounts. Supervise staff of professional military and civilian program analysts in the conduct of resource management and oversight functions. As principal advisor to the Director on programming requirements for training and training support, recommends policies and procedures for staff functions involving programming and program analysis. Provides functional expertise on the Institutional Training Resource Model (ITRM) and in the development for the strategic vision and improvements to training resources requirements models. Provides programming guidance to training program managers and coordinates the development of all Management Decision Package (MDEP) briefings, schedules and exhibits required.

Requirements

• SECRET CLEARANCE - This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LEVEL 3 CERTIFIED -must be able to obtain this certification within 24 months from hire date.
