About the Position: Serves as a Senior Management Analyst and subject-matter-expert for IMCOM Directorate-Training Tier 2 SES Agency, responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating studies of complex installation management and base operations programs, policies, and procedures.

Duties

Developing, conducting, and evaluating studies of complex installation management programs, policies, and procedures. Plans, leads, and carries out special research, projects, to support organizational decision making at all levels. Coordinates among key participants for long range planning and development of organizational strategies and missions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision SupportOrganizational Performance AnalysisPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
