You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the G-1 Division of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.
Duties
You will provide assistance with command-wide direction for management of civilian personnel programs.
You will serve as a planner for validation of new civilian positions which includes providing advice and assistance to management for solutions to staffing challenges, constraints, setting program goals and establishing priorities.
You will be assigned to projects involving the implementation and management of mandated programs, studies, and initiatives as required by DoD, DON, OPM, and HQMC civilian manpower and payroll management actions.
You will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and developing policies for all aspects of civilian personnel administration and management.
You will develop procedures and maintain oversight of time and attendance and payroll programs for MARFORCOM and Subordinate commands.
You will support Training Manager with the management of the command's training program.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to resolve civilian personnel programs challenges (e.g. civilian personnel issues, manpower utilization, position management, time and attendance and payroll) for the accomplishment of the organization's mission, goals and objectives.
